17th June 2004 Windsurfing: Weston-super-mare Wind Direction: west Wind Stength: 20+knots Surf / Sea State: rough Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived at beach,nice and blowy set up the 5.3 first half an hour perfect. excellent floaty jumps and even wave rides down by the pier. the wind started to pick up, cam in more down and out hall, back out but too overpowered come in again changed to smaller fin and out again. still a bit hectic came in and put up 4.4, all went down hill from there. nothing seemed to be set up right,harness lines all over the shop. Had the biggest catapult i have ever had,sailed for another 10mins after that got fed up and came in. |
